911 VE 944 RUS- BİZANS TİCARET ANLAŞMALARI (GEÇMİŞ YILLARIN HİKÂYESİ KRONİĞİ’NE GÖRE ‘PVL’)

چکیده
750’lerde batı ve doğu yönlü gelişen İskandinav saldırıları, İsveçlileri (Ruslar) kadim Rus topraklarına yöneltmişti. Savaşçılığın yanı sıra epeyce hünerli tüccarlar olan İskandinavlar, bu yöndeki maharetlerini göstermek maksadıyla nehir yollarını sıkılıkla kullanmaya başlamışlardı. Ticaretin İtil (Volga) Nehri vasıtasıyla Hazar Arap ulaşıyor olması, istekleri daha da arttırmıştı. Ancak bir süre sonra İskandinavların, Doğu Slav boylarını hâkimiyetleri altında toplayarak teşkilatlı biçimde hareket etmeleri, en büyük kazancı ticaretten elde eden Hazarları tedirgin etmişti. Sert önlemlere başvuran Hazarlar sebebiyle rahatça edemeyen Ruslar, Dinyeper (Özi) rotasını başlayarak dönemin gözde ticaret merkezi Konstantinopolis ile doğrudan iletişime geçmişlerdi. Bu yeni arterinde münasebetlerin sıklaşması, kaçınılmaz olarak siyasi mücadeleleri de beraberinde getirmiş, Rusların Bizans’a saldırmaları neticesinde ilki 912 sonraki 945 senesinde akdedilen iki barış-ticari anlaşması tarihte yerini almıştı. çalışmada her anlaşmaya dair detaylar ele alınmakla birlikte, Ruslar Bizans açısından ticari önemine değinilecektir.
